Special Message

“I sense that the moment has come to commit all of the Church’s energies to a New Evangelization.” These words of Pope John Paul II of beloved memory were and are the driving force behind our mission of Media in Service of the Gospel. In fact we believe in them so completely that we are embracing not only the message but also the actual identity of the mission. So just as Abram became Abraham and Simon became Peter we hereby announce that on December 8 of this year, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, The Prayer Channel will become ‘New Evangelization Television...NET.’ What this means for you is broader and more ethnically diverse programming with blocks of time for children, teens, the young and old, Churched and un-churched and everyone in-between. We hope in the weeks and months ahead you will grow in enthusiasm for this new vision as we keep you In The Loop about the many new initiatives at your channel.

CTN

This is the time of year when we can choose to look back and take stock of what we have accomplished for the academic year  or look forward to a fresh beginning.
CTN will have a fresh beginning for the 2008-2009 academic year under the new direction of Paul Cedeno.  As Program Director,  Mr. Cedeno will be looking for innovative ways to bring you the best resources in Instructional Media.   Services  you told us you value such as Power Media Plus and live satellite programs,  Meet The Author and Colonial Williamsburg, will be back with new offerings in October.
Feedback is a basic, human element of technology and we are grateful to be given the opportunity to listen to the Principals and Teachers of our Diocese who have helped to guide us in our mission.
We are looking forward – with you in mind.
